
Eda Skans
The Eda Skans museum opened in 1996 and has the intention to highlight the defense of the western frontier during the period "Hannibal" in 1644 up until the end of the union with Norway in 1905.
At the museum you can find an extensive collection of weapons, uniforms, paintings, documents and images. There are also findings from lake Hugn here.
Eda Skans museum is situated in Åmotfors, buts Eda Skans is situated on a hill west from Haganäset, so close that you can walk there. From the hill you also have a beautiful view of the surroundings.
